Check out our weekly schedule for Kairos Student ministry! Let’s stay connected online during these days!
There are no plans to go online with a service tonight. In fact, everyone could probably use a little bit of time away from screens. We encourage you to spend some time in prayer. The church prayer list for today has been posted on Realm, and there you can also add your prayer requests in the comment section.
Pastor Greg Follow these simple steps if you don't have the ability to use online giving through Realm.
Church Family,
The last thing I told you in the previous virus update was that the situation could change. Well, I have made the decision to move all of our services tomorrow to livestream only. Most churches our size in our city are doing the same thing in light of the governor's request to limit gatherings in excess of 250 people. There is at least one reported case of the virus in Hamilton County and maybe others who are untested. We want to honor our authorities and limit exposure for our senior adults especially who may be more sensitive and vulnerable to the infection. It may seem unnecessary to you, but it is the right thing to do. We honor our authorities and we love our neighbors by protecting our neighbors. I don't rejoice in the decision, but it is one that has to be made during this weird time for our country. I would ask that you try to refrain from being upset or too opinionated about what this virus potential is pushing us to do. We certainly are not intentionally trying to upset or make life difficult for anyone in our church. We've never navigated through these waters and are taking them one paddle at a time. Just go with the flow! :) |
