Our Mission
Calvary Kids is on a mission to help kids begin their personal discipleship journey in order for each kid to have ownership of their faith. We understand that kids have unique needs when it comes to becoming disciples of Christ, and our children’s ministry team is constantly looking for ways to equip our parents to build faith in the lives of their children.

Preschool
Calvary Kids Preschool is for newborns to Pre-K children during both Sunday Worship Services and Wednesday Bible Study. The program is designed to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of our babies and preschoolers while providing a safe and playful environment. Calvary Kids: Preschool is located in the Main Building at the north entrance just behind the Resource Center. Children are divided by developmental stage: Infants (birth until crawling), Crawlers (crawling but not walking), Walkers (new walkers), Toddlers (steady walkers through 2 year olds), Preschoolers (3-4 year olds), and Pre-K (4-5 year olds who will attend kindergarten next year). Check below for check-in procedures and more helpful information.
Elementary
Calvary Kids Elementary is an exciting ministry for kids in Kindergarten to 5th Grade and is designed to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of our elementary students while providing a safe and fun environment. Calvary Kids Elementary is located on the second floor of the Calvary Ministry Center (CMC). Check below for check-in procedures and more information.

SUNDAY MORNING
At 9AM, children attend life groups specific to their grades where they study a story from God’s word in an interactive environment. At 10:15AM, our groups come together for corporate worship and a lesson.

Sunday mornings at Calvary are an interactive experience for kids where they will learn in a multitude of ways. Some children learn by hearing, some by seeing, and others by doing. We want to effectively reach all kids as they hear the Word at Calvary Kids.

SUNDAY EVENING
Elementary children attend evening worship with their parents/guardians.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
During the school year, Awana clubs meet in the CMC, and elementary students are divided by grade level. The program begins at 6:45PM and includes games, lessons, and review.
CHECK-IN & PICK-UP PROCEDURE
At the time of check-in, you will be warmly greeted by someone from our staff who will help walk you through the check-in process. You will be asked to provide a mobile phone number that you have in your possession. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send a text message to that number (please place your phone on vibrate/silence during the service). You and your child will receive a tag specifically created for your child. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag.
Parents, please pick up your children in the Main Building at the north entrance just behind the Resource Center.

FAQ
Who will care for my child while I am in a Worship Service?
Each of our volunteers has completed a Calvary Kids New Leader Orientation Class which includes age-level training, thorough review of our safety and security policies and a background check. This detailed process ensures that we will provide your child with the best possible care in a safe and secure child-friendly environment.

What is the Calvary Kids well-child policy?

We operate a well-child environment. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep our  programs a healthy place!

What happens when my child cries?

If your child cries, our staff will make every effort to help calm them; but if your child continues to cry for ten minutes, you will receive a text from our staff asking for you to come help.

Calvary Kids Preschool - What snacks are available for my child?
Calvary Kids Preschool classrooms are a nut-free environment. The snacks consist of Club crackers, Goldfish, Ritz crackers, or graham crackers beginning at age 1. Please inform the leader if your child has an allergy to either of these snacks.

Calvary Kids Preschool - What do I bring?
Please label all personal items with your child's first and last name before arriving at your child's class. For the safety of our children, two year old and older must be wearing shoes to enter the program.
  • Two disposable diapers or pull ups. Please no cloth diapers.
  • Pacifier, lovey, or other comfort item.
  • A complete change of clothes.
