On Sunday mornings, we meet for Life Group at 9:00. We teach a lesson straight out of the Bible going verse by verse and then finish with competitive “sword drills” to help them learn how to navigate the Bible. These Sunday School lessons are usually focused on the literal and historical aspects of the Old and New Testaments in an effort to drive home the reality, accuracy and truth of God’s Word.
On Wednesday evenings, teens start out on the activity side of the Impact Youth Center where they can play air hockey, ping pong, carpetball, pool, foosball, or basketball, or just sit and talk with friends. At 7:00, we head into the auditorium for a game, announcements, worship and the Bible message focused on applicable truths for spiritual growth and everyday living. The last 15 minutes are spent in small groups. This is where we have the greatest opportunity to build relationships. Students are able to share their thoughts about the lesson, respond to what they feel God wants them to do with what they’ve learned, and pray together about the things going on in their lives.
The great thing about Impact Teens is that everyone has a friend. We know your child will be welcomed by their peers, encouraged by the music and teaching, and challenged to live for Christ in a world living for self.
