Sunday night growth tracks
MAKE FRIENDS | LEARN THE BIBLE | GROW SPIRITUALLY
From April 12 until May 3, we will be temporarily changing the structure of our Sunday evening services by offering 9 brand new programs/classes for every age at our church. Sunday Night Growth Tracks is designed to help us all be discipled, rooted, built up, and established in the faith and Bible knowledge. In addition to having programs and activities available for preschool, elementary children and teens, we will be offering 6 Bible-based topics for each adult or high school teen to choose from. Each person or couple must choose one to attend the entire time - you do not rotate or change week to week. Click here to register.
Descriptions for each class listed below:
Gentle and Lowly: Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This class will use Dane Ortlund's book Gentle and Lowly as we reflect on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today. Taught by Greg Powell.
Stronger Together: Tools for Deepening Marriage Connection: This class is designed to strengthen your relationship at every stage of life. Each week, you’ll gain practical, biblical tools for communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, and shared purpose. Whether you’re newly married or have been together for decades, this class will help you build a marriage that not only lasts—but truly thrives. Taught by Steven Maldoff.
Discipleship Practices for Parents of Teenagers: Raising teenagers in today’s world can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Discipleship Practices for Parents of Teenagers is a practical, encouraging Growth Track designed to help you confidently guide your teen’s faith. Join us as we learn simple, biblical ways to disciple our kids and build a faith that lasts. Taught by Matt Lozano.
The 400 Years of Silence: Have you ever wondered what happened in the 400 "Silent years" between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament? God may have been silent, but He was still at work! In 400 Years of Silence, Pastor Sam will lead a study on the turbulent times between the end of Malachi and the birth of Christ. Taught by Sam Melton.
Biblical Financial Stewardship: Learn practical Biblical principles for managing money with purpose, integrity, generosity, and faith. Taught by Mark Benson.
Ladies Bible Study: Something in us aches for more—more hope, more joy, more freedom. All around us people are dancing to the steps of bigger, better, and faster, and we can easily join in without even realizing it. Before long, complaining and comparing accompany our desire for more, yet we’re not any closer to filling the ache inside. God offers us another way. This class will use the study and video guide for Melissa Spoelstra's Numbers: Learning Contentment in a Culture of More.
Peer Pressure: Daring to be Different: Teens face unique challenges today, and many young people look to their peers for solutions. This study confronts peer pressure head-on, challenging students to discern how this influence is applied and encouraging them to resist it by God's grace. Our lives must be molded after Christ's example, driven by a love for Him - not subject to the ever-changing trends of today's culture. This class is intended for teens. Taught by Jordan Brenneman and Cristian Reinosa.
Kid's Choir: For kids in elementary school (K-6th). Taught by Nicole Crittenden and Karen Powell.
I Spy God's Blessings: For kids in preschool (5 and under). Taught by Tonya Brock.
