Sunday night growth tracks
MAKE FRIENDS | LEARN THE BIBLE | GROW SPIRITUALLY
From March 17 until April 28, we will be temporarily changing the structure of our Sunday evening services by offering 11 brand new programs/classes for every age at our church. Sunday Night Growth Tracks is designed to help us all be discipled, rooted, built up, and established in the faith and Bible knowledge. In addition to having programs and activities available for preschool, elementary children and middle school teens, we will be offering 8 Bible-based topics for each adult or high school teen to choose from. Each person or couple must choose one to attend the entire time - you do not rotate or change week to week. Click here to register.
Descriptions for each class listed below:
Winning the War in Your Mind: Many have struggled to break free from destructive habits and negative thinking, only to find themselves trapped in a tumultuous mind and a disordered daily life. "Winning the War in Your Mind" presents practical advice and biblical wisdom to help pave the way to a healthier future. When you change your mindset, you change your life. Taught by Matt Lozano.
Revival Praying: This class will study the book titled "Revival Praying" by Scott Pauley. A workbook will accompany the study. A major emphasis will be applying the lessons of the book into our prayer lives. Taught by Curtis Sayre.
Leadership for Life and Ministry: The goal of every Christian leader should be to lead like Jesus. Though there are many different leadership roles and styles, in the end, it should all come down to character, humility, maturity, godliness, and a willingness to serve instead of dominating. This class will focus on practical leadership principles that will equip anyone to grow in their influence toward others in both home, work, and church life. Taught by Greg Powell.
Church History: Reformation to the Present: This class will dive into the impact that the church has had on the world, specifically in the past 500 years. Studying momentous events like the Great Schism, the Diet of Worms, the Founding of the Jesuits, the Great Awakenings, and the Second Vatican Council, this class will help Christians of any age understand the context for the church we are in and upon whose shoulders we stand. Taught by Sam Melton.
Giving the Gospel through the Gospel of Mark: Join us for an empowering journey through this growth track, where you'll learn how to confidently and effectively share the core principles of the Christian faith with others using the smallest Gospel book, Mark. This course equips you with the tools and knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations about Christianity for the purpose of evangelism. Whether you're new to evangelism or looking to deepen your understanding, this course is for you. Join us and become a bold ambassador for Christ in your community! Taught by Steven Maldoff.
Israel and Prophecy: From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals the past and predicts the future. See how God has used Israel to accomplish His plan for the redemption of man and the end of the ages. Taught by Henry Benach.
Ladies Bible Study: The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God study by Priscilla Shirer is more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.
Character Study: What's So Special About Peter?: Peter had Christ’s attention. Jesus took a special interest in him. How do I get Jesus to invest in my life like he did Peter’s? Taught by Andy Gore.
Leadership Journey: Growing students into godly leaders happens in all sorts of ways: teams, mentoring relationships, projects, and small groups. It also happens in all sorts of places, from youth rooms to van rides to coffee shops. Leadership Journey is designed to help develop student leaders in the context that works best for our group. Each Bible-based leadership lesson will meet the most relevant needs of our middle school students. Boys class taught by Dave Fuhrwerk. Girls class taught by Annette Fuhrwerk.
