Hope all of you are doing well! We sure do miss seeing everyone and we can't wait to gather as a church family again.
Here's what's happening this Sunday through or online-only services: 9:30AM - Life Group Lesson (Pastor Chris) 10:15AM - Morning Worship/Message called "The Cure for Your Anxiety" 6:00PM - Pastor's Roundtable of 1 Thessalonians 3 Look for 2 Children's Church videos on Sunday also - one for younger kids and one for older kids. They should be accessible through a new section of our church website under the "Messages" tab for non-sermon videos. We'll try to link them to Facebook as well.
Teens will also have a special Life Group lesson taught to them by Luke Harrison through the Kairos Facebook page.
During the Sunday evening livestream, I am excited to offer something different and hopefully helpful. I have asked Pastor Aaron and Chris to join me for a time of discussion centered around 1 Thessalonians 3. I encourage you to read it before Sunday - it's a great chapter. We will offer explanation and application of the passage as we walk through it together and apply it to what is currently happening in our country. You are encouraged to submit questions or comments ahead of time or during the service by emailing, texting, replying here on this post, or by commenting on Facebook live during the roundtable. I want this to be interactive for everyone. We will also share with you some outreach projects we've already been a part of because of Covid-19, and an awesome opportunity we have next week to directly impact our community. We may just have a little fun on Sunday night as well. You won't want to miss it! Once again, look for ways to be a blessing and encouragement during this time. Invite people to join the livestream services. Keep praying for our country, our state, our city, and our church to have wisdom in these days. If we can assist you in anything, please let us know. Really, we want to hear from you! You are loved and you are missed! Below is a new song we'll be introducing Sunday. I learned to love this song at my former church in Charleston. Take a listen so you can become more familiar with it before Sunday.
